The jungles, tropical savannas and wetlands of the Terai Region in Nepal are home to the Royal Bengal tigers, one-horned rhinoceros, Asian elephants, sloth bears, blue bulls, wild water buffaloes, Sarus Cranes (world’s tallest flying bird), Mugger and Gharial crocodiles, clouded leopards, Langur monkeys, Red Pandas and many other majestic jungle animals. Nepal is also home to nearly 900 bird species.
