TRAINING CAMP INFORMATION
This kayak clinic is a fantastic opportunity to either pick up the basics, learn the art of kayaking, or improve your skills through expert training with the best kayaking instructors in Nepal.
Our river instructors will teach you effective and safe kayaking techniques to get you ready for the big adventure ahead. During the training, you’ll fall off your boat, get in, rescue yourself, learn about water movements and more importantly, get used to the river and your boat. You’ll learn the basics of the roll, how to turn upside down so you can either wet-exit or roll back up without any assistance. Our instructors will also teach you about eddies, holes, waves, how to cross the river and paddle across the river current. Once you have learned the basics, you will start running bumpy rapids (II/II+) and our instructors will teach you how to use the appropriate strokes and properly navigate the river. On your final day, you’ll put into practice everything you’ll have learned and you’ll be able to paddle through some exciting Class II / III+ rapids by yourself like a pro.
For experienced white-water kayakers, we offer Class II and Class III kayaking clinics. These trainings focus on the skills needed to take your paddling to the next level.
