We all have the responsibility to recognize the rights of our children and ensure their safety and well-being.

Play for Deprived Children Nepal is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) registered under the Nepal Government and Social Welfare Council.

PDCN is promoting sports to enhance child and youth development, build community capacity, and educate and empower children facing adversity.

Join us and spread the sports’ values to the deprived children in Nepal.

WHY “PLAY FOR DEPRIVED CHILDREN NEPAL”?

Their programs incorporate a unique methodology that uses sports and play as a tool for learning in three impact areas:

- Basic Education and Child Development: PDCN sports and play programs foster the physical, cognitive and social development of children to teach them important values and life skills.

- Health Promotion and Disease Prevention: PDCN sports and play programs are used to educate and mobilize community around health and disease prevention.

- Community Development and Participation: In order to create change and have a sustainable impact, they work in partnership with other NGOs to build community infrastructures through the engagement of local and international volunteers.

PDCN was built with the help of dedicated volunteers who devoted their time and energy to their cause. Since the beginning, international volunteers have been an important part of PDCN.

There’s a lot of different ways for you to get involved: teaching, coaching sports, health camps, writing reports, documenting events, attending/organizing a fundraising event and creating community awareness.

We do not charge any money for this program. Only direct donations to help PDCN’s charitable cause are welcome.
