Mardi Himal Trek - 12 Days
Mardi Himal Trekking Highlights:
Off-the-beaten-path, Mardi Himal is a great short-trek. Yet, it is still one of the least visited trekking trails in the Annapurna region. Mardi Himal is one of Annapurna's best kept secrets and the diverse hiking route is perfect for those who want to explore uncrowded new paths. As the altitude increases, forests are replaced by fields of rhododendrons and the route up to the Base Camp offers spectacular views of the entire Annapurna mountain range.
Mardi Himal is ideal for the adventure travelers looking for a short but challenging trek in the Himalayas.

The rooms in the tea houses (or guest houses) and homestays on the Mardi Himal trek are simple; the quality varies and the comfort becomes more basic as you ascend in altitude. Hot water for showers are sometimes available at an additional cost. Most of the tea houses have basic access to electricity (power outages are common at high altitudes) and WiFi is not always available (you'll have sometimes to pay a fee to have access to the WiFi and plug your devices). The rooms do not have heaters; bring a sleeping bag with you for the nights at high altitudes. Toilets (often squat toilets) are most of the time outside the rooms; tea houses do not always provide toilet paper (at least, not always for free); do not forget to bring a couple of rolls with you.
